Tuition & Monthly Scheduling

Tuition is billed at the beginning of each month based on the number of lessons scheduled for that month. Most months include four lessons, though some months may include five lessons or fewer due to holidays, studio closures, or calendar scheduling.

Families should notify SPuR School of Music of any planned absences, vacations, or scheduling conflicts before the monthly invoice is sent. If advance notice is given before invoicing, that lesson may be removed from the monthly invoice when appropriate.

Once the monthly invoice has been sent, the schedule for that month is considered confirmed. Missed lessons after the invoice has been sent are not automatically refunded, credited, or deducted from tuition.

Payment is due at the beginning of the month according to the invoice or payment request provided. Late or missed payments may result in a pause in lessons until the account is current.

Scheduling and Make-Up Lessons

Because lesson times are reserved weekly, students are expected to attend consistently.

If a student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, the teacher may offer a virtual lesson, written practice plan, recorded assignment, or make-up lesson when scheduling allows. Make-up lessons are not guaranteed.

How Enrollment Works

  1. Schedule a free trial lesson.
  2. We meet the student and discuss goals, experience level, and lesson options.
  3. We answer questions about scheduling, tuition, and availability.
  4. If lessons are a good fit, we confirm an available weekly lesson time.
  5. Monthly tuition is billed at the beginning of each month based on the confirmed lesson schedule.
  6. Your lesson time is reserved for you each week.

What Monthly Tuition Covers

Monthly tuition reserves your place in the studio, not just an individual lesson. This allows students to have a consistent weekly time and helps create steady progress over time.

Tuition includes regular weekly lessons, planning, preparation, assignment tracking, and the ongoing support needed to help students grow.

Starting Lessons

Before beginning regular lessons, please make sure your weekly lesson time has been confirmed.

After enrollment, you will receive any needed lesson details, materials, and instructions for your first regular lesson.
